By accessing and using MetaManager AI ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

MetaManager AI provides AI-powered document metadata generation services. We help you automatically generate, edit, and apply metadata to your PDF documents to improve their discoverability and searchability.

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without permission

5. Document Processing and Retention

We process your documents using AI technology to generate metadata. Document retention periods vary by account type:

• Free accounts: 3 days after processing
• Credit pack users: 7-14 days after processing
• Paid subscribers: 30-60 days after processing

You are responsible for downloading your processed documents before the retention period expires.

6. Payment Terms

Our Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance and never expire. Each document processed consumes one credit. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your documents and any content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing our services.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaManager AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MetaManager AI from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
